What Exactly Are Web Pages?

If it’s for a business, provide clear information about the merchandise and services and give website visitors an option to contact you whenever they need more information. If this site is on a personal internet site, don’t overdo it about products and services anyone includes on this page. Apply it as a place to give personalized reviews of products and companies you recommend.
This personalized review, along with the direct connection to the product and service, is going over much better than just a site with a bunch of links for you to products and services you feel someone visiting your website might want to check out. I recommend getting no more than five reviews on one page, and you can link to some other pages where you have more testimonials.
Contact – the purpose of this site is to offer your visitors and customers a way to contact you. It is best to include all possible techniques someone might be able to contact you, for example, email address, a form that will allow these to email you directly from your site, phone number (if it’s a company website) and mailing handle. All of the above is essential for a business web page. If it’s a personal website, you might need to have a form on this website for people to email you directly.
Resources/Links – these pages are another great way to offer critiques on products and services along with websites that you recommend. Ensure that the resources you offer on such a page are often relevant to your chosen niche. Whether it isn’t relevant, but you would choose to include it anyways, you should mention this on the website with the link. (note: should you make these links wide open in a new window, talk about this. Screen readers or perhaps those “new” to the Internet cannot tell the difference between a link that will open in the same window or a new window; therefore, it is best to tell people this specific. )
Sitemap – this site is widely misunderstood. I have seen many versions of sitemaps, some of which have never been pretty. A sitemap should include all pages inside your website and no links that will direct the visitor to other websites. It should be a list of those websites and not a detailed summary of pages. For great examples of sitemaps, look at the more popular websites, including Google, Yahoo, MSN, and Amazon. These sites are excellent degrees of ways to create an effective sitemap.
Articles – These pages aim to offer your visitors info on the niche topic on your website. You should have a link to the page for the article (using the title text as the link) and a summary of the article.
